Wind off
- Score sets the points needed to win, from 1 to 21 (default 7). Changing it applies to the next point; it does not retroactively end a match.
- More than 10 collisions in a rolling second forfeits the current rally: the last player to touch the ball loses the point. If neither player has touched the ball since serve, the rally is re-served without awarding a point. Pausing freezes the collision clock.
- Pinch shots remain possible. An ear contact near the floor or ceiling activates an 850 px/s launch cap for 0.25 seconds. A 1,400 px/s overall safety ceiling prevents extreme speeds in long rallies.
- W/S moves the left ear; ↑/↓ moves the right ear in two-player mode. Mouse/touch moves your ear on your half, or anywhere against the computer. Touch buttons are available on touch devices.
- Click/tap the board or use movement controls to start/resume. Space and Pause pause/resume. Settings do not start or resume gameplay. Changing mode or player count resets the match and leaves it paused.
- Sensitivity center = 750 px/s; right = 1,500 px/s; left = zero. Ball speed adjusts current velocity and future serves: 112.5 at left, 255 at center (default), 487.5 at right. The default and both bounds are 25% lower than version 1.8.
- Spin: moving-ear hits add rotation and curved flight. Center = original default. Wind gusts last 3 seconds, followed by 5 seconds calm, with random upward/downward direction and ±10° horizontal tilt.
- Gravity is independently available in every game. Selecting Tennis enables gravity, bounce and wind, sets gravity to 80%, bounce to 100%, and ball size to 70%. Tennis serves receive a small 5% horizontal velocity boost toward the opponent.
- Acceleration adds 0–20% speed per collision, in 1% steps (default 1%). Bounce changes normal rebound from 50–150%; center and off preserve original bounce. Ball size: 10% at left, 100% at center, 200% at right.
- Classic has no obstacles. Tennis has a quarter-height net. Mountain Classic has three 66-pixel snow-capped mountains on each boundary. Mountain Motion has one snow-capped mountain per boundary, moving oppositely at 45 px/s. Ball shapes have matching collision geometry; rear-ear contacts count as misses.
- Ear hits show a random quote for two seconds. Victory displays the winner's name with the supplied artwork. The board and scoreboard fit within a 8″ × 5″ CSS area and shrink on smaller screens; physical inches vary by display.
