Seedance 2.5 interactive rubric

Shot Control Lab: Score Motion Before Style

Seedance 2.5 supports longer audio-video generation and multiple reference inputs, but a feature list is not a production benchmark. This lab scores whether a clip follows a shot brief without changing the subject, camera path, or scene logic.

Protocol

  • Write a shot contract before generation: subject, action, camera movement, duration, start state, end state, forbidden changes, and audio cue.
  • Test five shot types: locked product shot, slow dolly, single human action, multi-object motion, and image-to-video continuity.
  • Keep references and settings fixed across repeated runs. A single selected clip hides retry rate and makes temporal reliability impossible to compare.

Interactive scorecard

Score each dimension from 0 (failed) to 4 (clean pass). The result is an evaluation aid, not a model leaderboard.

Average score: 2.0 / 4

A practical place to retain the shot brief and compare outputs is the Seedance 2.5 text-to-video workspace. This workflow link is disclosed because PhotoArtify Team builds the linked product.

How to report the result

Publish pass rate, accepted seconds, retry count, and failure notes. A model that creates one impressive clip after many attempts may be less useful than a model with slightly lower peak style but much stronger first-pass control.
